Rory Varrato, Ph.D.

Rory Varrato, Ph.D., is a philosopher, an educator, and an aspiring psychoanalyst.

Rory is a recent graduate of both the Philosophy and Education Program at Teachers College, Columbia University in the City of New York, as well as the Scholars Program at the Western New England Institute for Psychoanalysis in New Haven, CT.

Rory is a co-founder of Extinction Rebellion NYC, and his interdisciplinary research focuses broadly on the question of existential education in the Anthropocene.
